SUMMARY:

On October 29, 2014, at approximately 9:00 A.M., deputies from the Barstow Sheriff's Station responded to the Barstow-Daggett Airport at 39500 National Trails Highway in Daggett.  The reporting party stated unknown suspects entered a facility maintanence yard by cutting a chain link fence and entered various sheds on the property.  The suspects took a tow behind style cement mixer, worth $500, two security cameras and other miscellaneous items from the facility.  Deputies were able to locate tracks from the stolen property and followed them over nine miles into the town of Yermo.

Once in town, deputies were able to locate the stolen cement mixer in the gated and locked yard at 38546 E. Williams Street.  While waiting to confirm the address, a male subject walked outside, saw deputies and quickly returned inside the house.  Deputies knocked on the door and announced their presence, but no one answered the door.  A search warrant was authored and at 12:20 P.M., deputies from the Barstow Sheriff's Station and San Bernardino County Sheriff's Special Enforcment Division served the warrant.

Upon entry into the house, deputies immediatley contacted Jarrod Tuers and Tanya Raggio.  They were detained, interviewed and subsequently arrested for possession of stolen property.  Both suspects were transported and booked at the Barstow Jail.  The cement mixer, along with a screen door and two sheets of 3/4 inch plywood were identified by the reporting party as stolen and returned to the rightful owner.
