Paulette Marshall on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, submitted her resignation as General Manager of the Newberry CSD effective immediately.

    Marshall's letter of resignation stated in part, "Due to unforeseen medical complications, which required emergency surgery yesterday, additional prolonged hospitalization, more surgeries scheduled in upcoming weeks, and months of recovery time, I will be unable to continue to serve the district for the foreseen future."
