Unbelievable! CSD president and chairwoman Paula Deel
is operating the CSD blindly.
She sees things that don't exist !
As revealed in the previous blog, she sees advisements
to the Newberry CSD in the 2012-2013 Grand Jury report that don't exist.
She has blocked open CSD transparency of the CSD's
activities by refusing to record CSD's meetings.
After refusing to repeal a terrible policy at last month's
board meeting that blocks the CSD from audio recording meetings, Paula Deel
is now trying to cover something that she has overlooked. She is now trying
to have the board's policies exclude video recordings.
Last month Paula Deel refused to repeal the policy below.
At the board meeting for Tuesday, December 10, 2024, she
wants to add the policy below.
What does this person have against the community having
access to a recording of the CSD's public meetings?
What does she have against the CSD exercising good public
policies?
Why doesn't she want a public record of what she does as
an elected official?
Doesn't she understand the basic obligation of representing
the good of the community?
Apparently not, as she was one of the directors who allowed
the Clearway Energy and the BMT Minneola Solar projects.
As Chairwoman, she leads the board. However, it is a dereliction
of the other directors' duty to allow this poor community representation.
