At approximately 9:45 P.M., a female called 911 reporting several suspects trying to force open her security door to enter her residence.  When unsuccessful, the suspects smashed a window and climbed into the home.  The caller was hiding in a closet and reported her husband was being assaulted by the suspects after confronting them.  The suspects ransacked a bedroom and fled after stealing several items.
