Candidate filing for the Newberry Community Service District board is now open.  The candidate filing period runs from May 6 through May 31, 2013.  Filing can be done 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. at the San Bernardino County Elections Office located at 777 East Rialto Avenue in the city of San Bernardino.

    Registration can also be done on May 20, 2013 from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the High Desert Government Center, Multipurpose Room - Second Floor, at 15900 Smoke Tree Street in Hesperia.

    Should an incumbent fail to register, the registration period could be extended into the following week.

    Three Newberry CSD board seats currently held by Wayne L. Snively, Diana Williams, and Kathleen Ridler are available for contest in the mail-in ballot only election that will be held on August 27, 2013.
