Meeting the Friday, May 31, 2013 deadline to register for candidacy of the Newberry CSD board were Robert Shaw, Robert Springer, Robert Vassauer, and incumbent Diana Williams.

    Due to current board members Kathleen Ridler and Wayne Snively not filing, the deadline for candidacy filing has been extended for 5 calendar days.  Registration will close Wednesday, June 5, at 5 P.M.  Any qualified person can file except the two current board members who did not file.

    Registration filing must be done at the county's Registrar of Voters office located at 777 East Rialto Avenue, San Bernardino, California.  For information, contact the Registrar's office at (909) 387-8300.

    The August 27, 2013 election for CSD board members will be by mail-in ballot only.
