Is President Barack Obama Involved
In Ambassador Chris Stevens Death?

Possible Conspiracy?

Admiral James "Ace" Lyons, Jr.

Four-star Admiral James Lyons, as quoted by the Washington Examiner, states that "the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi... was the result of a bungled abduction attempt...,"  by the Obama Administration, "the first stage of an international prisoner exchange... that would have ensured the release of Omar Abdel-Rahman, 'The Blind Sheik'..."

The retired four-star admiral claims that Barack Obama intentionally conspired with enemies of the United States to foster the kidnapping of a U.S. ambassador in order to "negotiate" a highly public prisoner exchange just prior to the 2012 primary election.

The Community Alliance feels that Admiral Lyons' accusation, as wild as it may first appear, could possibly be on target.

Cairo, since the Muslim Brotherhoods' takeover, has been quietly involved in backdoor diplomacy with the Obama Administration seeking the release of Omar Adbel-Rahman, who is highly revered by the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt for his hardline Jihadist beliefs and vocal criticism of Hosni Mubarak for which Omar Adbel-Rahman had been earlier jailed.

The question that has been before the Obama Administration is how could the President politically justify the release Adbel-Rahman, a convicted terrorist on U.S. soil, and still carry popular support.  Only a prisoner exchange for someone of major significance would be palatable with the American people.

While running neck-to-neck in the polls with Mitt Romney, a prisoner exchange similar to Iran's release of U.S. hostage prisoners, had to have been one of the scenarios on the Administration's drawing board.

With the Obama Administration's limitation of the Benghazi (Libya) consulate's security prior to the alleged kidnapping, the substandard security in a known hotbed area of political upheaval, the live capture of the U.S. ambassador should have been easily accomplished by the large militant force that came heavily armed; however, nearby former Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods refused direct orders not to engage the kidnappers and the two left their quarters a short distance from the U.S. Consulate and fought the attackers, killing a significant number of them.  While this reportedly saved some Americans that escaped, the attackers may have believed that the Obama Administration had betrayed them; and after a long firefight, the heavily armed militants overpowered the American defense with their superior weapons.

The firefight took time, enough time that the U.S. could have tried to scramble available air support to assist the U.S. Benghazi consulate's defenders.  The U.S. had reinforcements approximately one-hour away in Italy.  The attackers apparently did not initially use their grenade missles so as not to kill their intended hostage.

A major question is why did the Obama Administration refuse the consulate's requests for air support?  The Administration remarkably had a reported surveillane drome in place and could watch the fighting in real time; but refused assistance!  Why did the attackers feel that they had time and did not initially launch the grenade missles they had?  Why were available rescue forces ordered not to engage?

dragged from the U.S. consulate by Muslim attackers.

In capturing Ambassador Chris Stevens, and apparently feeling betrayed by the Administration due to their heavy casaulties, the attackers reportedly dragged Stevens into Benghazi's streets.

The firefight began a 10 P.M.  At 1:15 A.M. Ambassador Stevens was delivered to a local hospital where a doctor told the BBC that he spent an hour trying to revive the ambassador; but that Stevens died from smoke inhalation.

Why would an angry Islamic militant group lose comrades attacking an American consulate, capture an American ambassador, and then when near death, strangely allow the ambassador to be transported to a hospital and be released for care without a guard?  More to the story appears likely.  The operatives of the attack may have lost their planned objective to keep Stevens alive for a high-level prisoner exchange.

It would not be any stranger if the "angry Islamic militant group" was actually a mercenary group covertly hired for the incident.  Naturally, available rescue forces would have been ordered to stand down for them.

Obama skillfully negotiating the successful release of an American ambassador from death at the hands of terrorists would have been very popular with Americans prior to the election; but also the exchanged release of 'The Blind Sheik' would have made Obama a hero in the Muslim world.  A double win and a highly enticing scenerio for Obama's pre-election consideration.

Ambassador John Christopher Stevens was born in Grass Valley, California and studied for an undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley (1982) before graduating from the University of California's Hastings College of Law (1989).  He practiced international trade law in Washington, D.C. and attended the National War College before joining the U.S. Foreign Service in 1991.  He spoke English, French, and Arabic.

Three other Americans were killed in the Benghazi consulate attack on September 11, 2012.

'The Blind Sheik' Omar Abdel-Rahman's verbal encitements of Jihad against the U.S. have been tied to dozens of killings, including the 1993 World Trade Center's bombing.  He declared a fatwa (Islamic jurist ruling) that declared it lawful for Muslims to rob banks and kill Jews in the United States.

He has called upon his Muslim brothers to attack the West and "cut the transportation of their countries, tear it apart, destroy their economy, burn their companies, eliminate their interests, sink their ships, shoot down their planes, kill them on the sea, air, or land."

The FBI was able to acquire a recording of Abdel-Rahman issuing a fatwa that promoted substantial attacks upon U.S. civilian targets.  He was arrested in June 1993 and was convicted in October 1995 of seditious conspiracy.  He was later sentenced to life in prison in 1996.

Abdel-Rahman's imprisonment in the U.S. has become an Islamic militants' rallying point.  Others in his Al-Gama'a al-Islamiyya group in 1997 committed two attacks in Egypt upon European vistors, massacring 58 in Luxor and mutilating many of the bodies, including woman and children.  The attackers left notices calling for Abdel-Rahman's release.

Whether Admiral Lyons' accusations have merit isn't publicly known.  However, he is said to have many channels to information and a man of his high stature doesn't make a claim without creditability behind it.

A Congressional investigation is attempting to acquire sworn testimony from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as to what she knew of the attack and when.  And why was the initial reason given for the attack, so quickly issued by the U.S. State Department as being an insulting video of the prophet Muhammad.  A claim officially maintained for five days by the Administration despite initial reports from Benghazi acknowledging that the attack had nothing to do with the American made video mocking Muhammad.

The action of Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods may have changed the game plan.

In fact, a communication claiming to be from an Al-Qaeda linked group was announcing credit for the attack while the attack was underway left no doubt with officials that the attack wasn't resulting from any spontaneous demonstration over the video; yet for five days after the attack, President Obama was trying to play down the announcement and was directly lying to the American public claiming that the attack was a result of a demonstation over the video.  The Obama Administration appeared to be trying to rewrite the facts and follow an earlier pre-scripted plan to legitimize and soften the public's perception of the attack.

To plan a militant abduction of an ambassador, the Obama Administration would have wanted an excuse for an abduction, such as with the takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.

It is noteworthy that the obscure video that the Administration initially claimed was the flashpoint for the attack had been on the Internet for many months prior without any notoriety.

Suddenly, in a very remote Afghanistan area, where the people are illiterate in their own native language, and absolutely not fluent in English, and where they don't have Internet access, came news videos of riled-up villagers holding English signs protesting the American made amateurish video.  This appears too orchestrated and the serious question arises as to whether the Obama Administration through Central Intellegence was also responsible for this; which took many additional lives caught up in the following demonstrations, as a planned justification for the later "spontaneous demonstation" attack upon the Benghazi Consulate.
